Openings for Pharmacists under Integrated Health Family Welfare Society

The recruitment process for the vacant posts under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) is to be done on a purely temporary basis on a monthly lump sum basis as shown in below.

Salary : Rs. 17,000/-

Advertisement for filling vacant posts out of the approved posts as per the project implementation plan under the National Urban Health Mission is being published on the website nmmc.gov.in and general instructions/information regarding the procedure for applying is being given as follows.

The application should be submitted in the prescribed manner after reading all the instructions carefully. The candidate will be considered eligible or ineligible on the basis of the information given in the application and the certificates/documents submitted during the interview. And on that basis, he will be included in the further selection process.
Acceptance of the application or inclusion in the further selection process does not mean that the candidate has been selected. If at any time during the selection process or after the selection of the candidate, it is found that the applicant does not possess the prescribed qualifications or is ineligible for any reason, the selection of such candidate will be cancelled immediately.


a) Instructions regarding the application
1) The above posts are of contractual nature and the appointment will be for a period of 6 months.
2) All candidates must fill the application form within the prescribed period as mentioned in the advertisement.
3) The information given in the application form should be filled accurately.  It should be noted that the information once filled will be considered final and no changes can be made to it.
4) Direct interviews for the posts of Medical Officer Full Time and Medical Officer Part Time will be conducted on 10/09/2025. Registration, verification and verification of original documents will be done from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and interviews of the candidates will be conducted on the same day.
5) For the posts of Staff Nurse, A.N.M. and Drug Manufacturer, the fully filled application form and all the documents as per point no. 5 in (t) should be submitted to the Medical Officer, Health Department, 3rd Floor, NMU Headquarters, Plot No. 1, Sec. 15 A, Near Kille Gavthan, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai-400614 (excluding government holidays) physically (By Hand) and by courier from 26/08/2025 to 11/09/2025.  Applications submitted after the given deadline will not be considered. (Please ensure that applications submitted by post/courier reach this office within the prescribed time. Please note that applications received late will not be entertained.)

Age Limit:-
1) As per the Government decision dated 25th April 2016 of the General Administration Department, Mumbai, the maximum age limit for the post on the last date of submission of applications is -
a) 38 years for unreserved category
b) 43 years for reserved category.
2) As per the letter dated 25th May 2019, the age limit for candidates with MBBS, Specialist and Super Specialist qualifications will be 70 years on the last date of submission of applications. Candidates who are 60 years of age or above are required to attach a certificate of physical and mental fitness obtained from the District Surgeon along with the application.


Instructions for filling the application:-
1) The candidate should enter his full name exactly as it appears on the secondary school certificate. A copy of the secondary school leaving examination certificate should be attached with the application.
2) Only the date of birth mentioned in the secondary school leaving examination certificate should be mentioned in the application.
3) The age of the candidate (days, months and years) as on the date of publication of the advertisement should be mentioned correctly in the application.
4) The gender of the candidate should be mentioned in the application.
5) If the applicant is married, the marriage registration certificate and the Gazette, if there is a change of name, must be submitted along with the application.
6) The candidate should be a resident of the state of Maharashtra and he will be required to submit a Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
7) The candidate should mention his caste details correctly.
8) Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Nomadic Tribes, Special Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, SC/ST, ST/ST categories will be required to submit a non-creamy layer certificate. Otherwise, the applications of such candidates will be rejected.
9) The candidate should mention his current address and permanent address correctly in the application.
10) It is mandatory for the candidate to mention his/her valid e-mail ID/alternative e-mail ID, current mobile number/alternative mobile number in the application. The candidates who are eligible for the interview will be given instructions regarding the interview through e-mail. The list of eligible candidates will be published on the above mentioned website. The said e-mail ID will remain active till the completion of the recruitment process and it will be the responsibility of the candidate to check the e-mail from time to time.
11) The list of eligible/ineligible candidates regarding the recruitment and necessary instructions and amendments regarding the recruitment will be published on the website nmmc.gov.in from time to time.
12) Government Decision for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates General Administration Department No. Raadho-4019/Prkr.31/16/A, dated 12/02/2009 and dated It will be necessary to submit the certificate prescribed under 31/05/2021.
13) If the backward class candidates want to submit the application from the reservation, it will be necessary to attach the caste certificate with the application. Otherwise, the applications will be considered ineligible.
14) An undertaking letter should be given that no criminal case has been registered against the applicant.

Educational Qualification
1) Detailed and accurate details regarding educational qualifications should be recorded.  
2) The candidate must have the educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement on the last date of submission of application.  
3) While filling the application, the marks and percentage of marks obtained in the final year should be mentioned accurately. It is mandatory to mention the marks and percentage of marks without mentioning the grade or other category. If the marks and percentage of marks mentioned in the certificate do not match the percentage mentioned in the application, such applications will be rejected.  
4) The application of the candidates will be scrutinized as per the information mentioned in the application.  
5) If the candidates eligible for the post of Medical Officer do not submit the original mark sheets of the required educational qualifications during the interview, the said candidate will be disqualified.   
6) The educational qualification/qualification required for the post must be obtained from a government recognized university.

Experience
1) Only government, semi-government and private experience after obtaining educational qualification and necessary additional educational qualification will be considered. Accordingly, experience before obtaining educational qualification should not be recorded. That experience will not be calculated.
2) While mentioning the details of experience, the details of the government, semi-government and private office from which the experience certificate is obtained should be mentioned in the form. If there is no experience certificate, the said experience will not be considered. The period of experience should be clearly mentioned in the experience certificate.
3) While mentioning the details in the experience certificate, the date of joining and the date of release should be indicated. Care should be taken to record the said period only as per the experience certificate. If there is any discrepancy in this, the said certificate will be declared invalid.
4) Only the experience required for the post applied for will be considered. If there is any other experience apart from this, such experience will not be considered.

Computer Qualification :-
Details of holding MSCIT certificate should be mentioned.
Small Family Certificate :-
1) The condition of small family has been implemented from 23/07/2020 and from 23/7/2020, candidates having more than two surviving children will not be eligible to apply for the post of National Health Mission.
Candidate's Photo and Signature :-
1) The candidate should affix his/her recent clear photograph in the space reserved for the photo in the application. The photo should not be stapled.
2) Sign in the space reserved for signature.

Selection Process
1) Selection for the post of Medical Officer full-time and part-time will be made through direct interview.
2) Candidates will be selected for the post of Staff Nurse, A.N.M. and Drug Manufacturer as per the scoring system.

General Instructions:-
1) All necessary instructions and information regarding the said recruitment process will be published on the official website of the Health Department from time to time. For this, it will be mandatory for the candidates to visit the website nmmc.gov.in and obtain information. No candidate will be contacted personally in connection with the recruitment.
2) The posts mentioned in the advertisement are completely contractual in nature and are not regular posts of the State Government. These posts have no connection with the posts of the State Government and the candidate will not be able to demand adjustment to the regular posts of the State Government.
3) The salary of the post mentioned in the advertisement is a combined honorarium.
4) It should be noted that the selected candidates will be appointed to the vacant posts of the Civil Primary Health Center. It will be mandatory to join the appointed place within 7 days of the date of appointment order.
(If the candidate uses any pressure technique, the selection of the said candidate will be cancelled. Otherwise, their appointment order will be terminated and the next candidate in the waiting list will be appointed.)

7) Applications should be submitted from 2608/2025 to 11/09/2025 during office hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and government holidays) between 9.45 am and 6.15 pm. It should be noted that applications received after 11/09/2025 will not be accepted.
8) All rights to suspend, cancel the recruitment process, change the recruitment process, change the number of posts are reserved at the level of Hon'ble Commissioner, NMMC. No one can make any claim in this regard.
9) Candidates eligible for the post of Medical Officer must have the original copies of all the documents mentioned below at the time of interview. Failure to submit the original copies of all the documents will disqualify the said candidate.
