Approval has been received from the Hon'ble Municipal Commissioner vide No. MGC/F/6962 dated 26.06.2025 to fill the vacant posts on contractual basis for the period from 01.10.2025 to 31.03.2027 for 2 posts in the category of 'Drug Manufacturer' in the establishment of Acworth Municipal Corporation Leprosy Hospital in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on contractual basis with a service break of 01 day after 179 days each for the period till the said posts are filled on contractual basis or on regular basis, whichever is earlier. Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the candidates who possess the required educational qualifications/qualifications and fulfill the conditions in accordance with the said approval.

Educational Qualification
1) The candidate must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education or a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University. (Preference will be given to those with a degree in Pharmacy.)
2) The candidate should be registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
3) Computer Knowledge The candidate should have completed the 'CCC' or 'O Level' or 'A Level' or 'B Level' or 'C Level' level certificate of the DOEACC Society or the certificate course of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher and Technical Education (MACIT or GECT).
4) The candidate should have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination or its equivalent or higher examination with a minimum of 50 marks in the question paper with Marathi as the subject.
Age Limit:-
As on the last date for submission of applications of the candidate (19/09/2025)
1. The age of the candidate as on the last date of application shall be minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years.
Selection Criteria and Procedure
1) Degree will be given preference.
2) Candidates who have passed in the first attempt will be given preference. If the candidate has passed in two or three attempts, 5 marks / 10 marks will be deducted from the final marks. Candidates who have passed the examination in more than three attempts will not be considered. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with equal marks in order of seniority as per date of birth.
3) If there is experience of working as 'Drug Manufacturer'/'Social Development Officer' in Government and Lower Government Institutions (minimum 06 months experience), two marks will be added to the final year marks for every six months of working experience. Minimum maximum marks will be accepted up to 20.
4) If the prescribed educational qualification of the said posts is not passed in the first attempt, the marks of the candidates will be deducted as per No. 2.
5) The marks of experience will be added to the final year marks and their percentage will be calculated as per No. 4. The selection list will be prepared in the order of the said percentage marks.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the above selection criteria. The selection list will be displayed on the local notice board of the hospital.
Application Fee
The total application fee will be Rs. 790+18% GST Rs. 143 Rs. 933/-. The candidates will be charged Rs. 790+18% GST Rs. 143 Rs. 933/-. The application fee should be paid in cash at the Municipal Corporation's Civic Facility Center (CFC) by taking the challan from the office and submitting the receipt of payment of the fee within the prescribed period. (This application fee is non-refundable and will not be returned under any circumstances.)
The original receipt of payment of the fee should be attached to the application, and the completed application along with all the documents (including photocopies of self-attested certificates) should be submitted to the Administrative Office of the Hospital, Acharath Municipal Corporation, Leprosy Hospital, Incoming and Outgoing Department.
General Terms and Conditions
1) The application should be complete in all respects in the prescribed format with self-signature. The candidate's mobile number, e-mail ID and correspondence address (including pincode) should be clear and complete. Incomplete applications not in the prescribed format will not be considered.
2) A recent passport-sized photograph of the candidate along with his signature should be affixed at the place mentioned on the application. Two additional copies of the same photograph should be kept with the candidate for further selection process.
3) Female candidates should submit marriage certificate, gazette notification of change of name. Also, if they are not available, married female candidates can apply under their previous name.
4) The candidate should attach a copy of school leaving certificate, birth certificate, 10th, 12th and degree certificates, self-attested, photocopies of them, with the application.
5) Candidates will have to appear in the office on the given date with the original documents of the photocopied certificates submitted. You will be informed of this date 5 days in advance on the e-mail ID you have provided.
6) If the candidate has been convicted of moral turpitude or a criminal case by any court, and if there is a police investigation/court case pending against the candidate/if he has been convicted, the candidate must inform about it.7) Appointment on contractual basis will be purely temporary for a period of 179 days at a time.
8) Apart from the lump sum payment given to the contractual employees: no dearness allowance, house rent allowance etc. will be admissible.
9) The candidate will be admissible weekly leave and 7.5 casual leave for six months during the contractual period, no other leave will be admissible.
10) They will regularly take biometric attendance as per their duty hours, otherwise they will be considered absent. Their absence without permission will be considered absent without pay.
11) The appointed candidate will be required to attend duty as per the hospital facilities and as per the orders received.
12) The rules in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Service Rules will not be applicable to the appointed candidates. This appointment will be purely on contractual basis and no right to regular service will be claimed and no one will be able to go to any court.
13) Since the service of candidates working during the contract period is temporary, their service will not be considered for seniority or the service will not be given priority for seniority.
14) If the work of candidates working on contract basis is unsatisfactory during the contract period, the appointment on such basis will be terminated without giving any prior notice.
15) If it is found that the candidate has committed any disciplinary offence during the period of appointment of the post holder on the contract basis, his appointment will be cancelled immediately.
16) If the selected candidate wants to resign from the post for any reason, he is required to give 1 month's prior notice and if no prior notice is given, the salary for that month will be deducted.
17) In case the appointed contractual employee resigns or leaves the service, the next available candidate on the list will be appointed.
18) During the contract period, the candidates on the contract basis will be given Rs. 500/- on bond paper.
19) If at any time after the commencement of the selection process or after the appointment, the candidate submits any false information/certificates/documents or is found to have concealed any information, his candidature will be cancelled. Also, if there is an appointment, his appointment will be terminated without giving any prior notice.20) The Mumbai Municipal Commissioner reserves the right to stop the selection process at any time at any stage for administrative or other reasons.
Special Note
1) Applications submitted/received earlier at the concerned office and other places will not be considered.
2) Applications received by post will not be considered.
3) Applications will not be accepted without paying the prescribed application fee and attaching its receipt.
4) Candidates registered with the Service Planning Office/Project Officer are also required to appear with personal information and original and attested copies of the necessary certificates as per this advertisement.
5) If a candidate brings any documents after the prescribed time, those documents will not be accepted and his application will be considered incomplete and disqualified.
6) Please note that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has not given any right to sell, accept applications, etc. to any person or other organization.
7) If any candidate is found to have tried to exert pressure at any stage of the recruitment process or to have resorted to improper means or to have arranged for impersonators, he/she will be disqualified from selection.
