Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) was introduced in 1954 with a view of providing comprehensive & holistic medical facilities to the Central Govt employees, other entitled categories and their family members and is available as of now approximately in 37 cities of India. CGHS Bangalore was started in 1976. The beneficiaries of CGHS Bangalore can avail healthcare services in different systems of medicine such as Modern Medicine, Homoeopathy, Unani & Ayurveda. Online appointment facility is available for all Doctors. There are Ten Wellness Centres, One Polyclinic, One Dental unit, Two Ayurveda units, One Homeopathy unit and One Unani unit. All Wellness Centres are easily accessible and all have been provided with basic health care infrastructure.

PHARMACIST (ALLOPATHIC)

Classification : Group’C’, General Central Service, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted.

No of posts : 04 (1-UR, 2-OBC, 1-EWS)

Department : Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

Age (Crucial date for determining the Age Limit shall be closing date for submission of application)
Between 18 and 25 years
Age Relaxation as per Govt. rules issued from time to time.
OBC candidates: 3 years.
PWD + Gen candidates: 10 years.
PWD + OBC candidates: 13 years.
Government Servants General: upto 40 Years.

Pay Scale : Level-5, Index-1 of Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission

 

Essential Qualification :
i) 12th class passed with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or equivalent from a recognized Board or University;
ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948; and
iii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist in any recognized Hospital or Pharmacy after duly registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948; and OR
i) Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B Pharm.) from a recognized University or equivalent; and
ii) registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948

Initial Place of Posting : Bangalore

Job Requirement :  Dispensing of drugs and maintenance of related accounts, Preparation of annual forecast, indent, etc., any other work assigned by the superior authority. As per CGHS Compendium issued from time to time.

Instruction for PH(PwD) candidates  : Post is identified suitable for OH & HH candidates. No post is earmarked for PwD

 

AYURVEDIC PHARMACIST

Classification : General Central Service, Group’C’, Non Ministerial, Non-Gazetted

No of posts : 01 ( SC )

Department : Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Ministry of Health & Family Welfare

Age (Crucial date for determining the Age Limit shall be closing date for submission of application)
Between 18 and 25 years.
Age Relaxation as per Govt. rules issued from time to time.
SC candidates: 5 years.
SC PWD candidates: 15 years.
SC Government Servants: upto 45 Years.

Pay Scale : Level-5, Index-1 of Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission

Essential Qualification :
i) 12th class passed or equivalent with Science stream (Physics or Chemistry or Biology) from a recognized Board or university.
ii) Technical Qualification: Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmacy OR Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy course duration of which should not be less than two years from any Government Organization or recognized private Institute or by any University and registered with respective State Government Ayurvedic Regulatory Boards or Councils; and
iii) Two years’ experience in the field of Ayurvedic Pharmacist from any recognized Ayurvedic Dispensary or Hospital or Pharmacy or Wellness Centre.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS ON PAYMENT OF EXAMINATION FEE & CLAIMING AGE RELAXATION
• Examination fee is Rs 500/- from each candidates. SC/ST/PwD/EWS Categories of candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fees
• SC/ST candidates with PwD can claim Age Relaxation as applicable to normal PwD candidates when they apply against UR Post in Pharmacist (Allopathic)
• SC/ST candidates cannot claim Age Relaxation when they apply against UR post in Pharmacist (Allopathic)
• OBC candidates will have to make payment of Examination Fee

 

HOW TO APPLY
STEP-I: Candidates applying for the first time for any notification shall fill the One Time Registration (OTR) form carefully to obtain OTR ID. While filling the OTR, the candidates should not make any mistakes. CGHS Bangalore bears no responsibility for the mistakes, if any, made by the Candidates. (If candidates already have OTR ID number then he/she can proceed to STEP-II.)
STEP-II: The Candidate has to Login in to the CGHS Bangalore’s recruitment website with the User Name (OTR ID) and the Password set by the Candidate. PAYMENT PROCESS: After log in, the Candidate may click on the ‘Fee Payment’ link. The Basic details required for calculation of the Fee and Age relaxation will be pre populated from the OTPR data. The Candidate can verify all the details that are displayed. Once the Payment form is submitted, the respective details (Used for Calculation of fee and Age relaxation) cannot be altered in any stage of application processing. Hence if any details are to be changed, Candidate should use the Modify OTPR link, modify the details, save it and again click on fee payment link.
STEP-III: After filling the form correctly, submit the Payment application form. By clicking “Confirm” the Candidate is redirected to payment options where he/she can select any one of the payment options shown and complete the payment process as given on the screen. Note: Candidate is suggested to check the payment details in “Know your Payment Status” link for the successful transaction of Payment. If the payment is shown as “Unsuccessful” or “Failed”, Candidates are suggested to pay the payment again and the deducted amount from the first transaction will be refunded within 4-5 working days.
STEP-IV: Once the payment is successful, page is redirected to the Online Application form. Fields like OTR ID, demographic details etc., are pre-populated from the data submitted in the payment form by the Candidate for respective notification / advertisement. The Candidate should check the data displayed thoroughly and should fill the application specific fields like Qualification and experience etc., carefully and submit the Application form. Once the Application is submitted successfully, Application Receipt is generated. The Candidates are requested to print and save the Application Receipt for future reference / correspondence.

NOTE: Candidate shall note that, the details displayed from OTR at the time of submitting the Application form will only be considered for the purpose of this notification / advertisement.
