Post : Assistant Manager, Medical Science Liaison (Oncology)
Job Description
• Establish and maintain peer-level relationships with oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across academic and private institutions.
• Deliver impactful, compliant, and timely scientific interactions aligned with medical strategy.
• Serve as the therapeutic guide for products across multiple cancer indications (renal, lung, breast, prostate, ovarian).
• Support regional medical education programs including CMEs, advisory boards, and scientific roundtables.
• Provide clinical and scientific expertise to cross-functional teams.
• Collect and communicate actionable field insights to refine medical strategy.
• Collaborate with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance teams to ensure alignment.
• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
• Accurately report adverse events and product complaints.
Additional Responsibilities
Actively support the launch of new oncology assets and innovator molecules.
Participate in national and international oncology scientific meetings.
Contribute to territory reviews, scientific planning, and strategy alignment sessions.
Candidate Profile
• BDS / MBBS / PharmD / MSc / PhD (Life Sciences or Clinical Research).
• 1–2 years in Medical Affairs or as an MSL in oncology or specialty care.
• Experience engaging senior clinicians/KOLs.
• Prior exposure to product launches or targeted therapies (preferred).
• Strong scientific acumen with deep knowledge of oncology and the Indian healthcare ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret and present complex clinical/scientific data.
• Strategic thinking with agility to execute field initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and digital engagement platforms.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% of the time across assigned territories.
• Availability to attend national and international scientific conferences.
