The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Project Associate-II

Job Description : • Perform research requiring cell biology techniques including cell culture, transfection, Microscopy, and cell- based assays
• Generate and characterize patient derived stem cells lines AND/OR
• NGS data analysis (whole-exome, RNA- Seq, single cell RNA- Seq, spatial transcriptomics, shell scripting, molecular dynamics simulation studies)
• Regular data analyses, project updates, literature surveys and presentations on the target

Job Description : CRISPR/Cas9 knock- in rat and iPSC generation

Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
