Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology (KMIO), Bangalore is a Regional Cancer Centre (RCCs). KMIO is arecognised exclusive tertiary cancer care centre cum academic and research institutes, delivering modern health care by groups of trained professionals and paraprofessionals coming together as interdisciplinary teams and has facilities for advanced medical investigation and treatment. KMIO was accorded RCC statuson 1st Nov 1980 by Government of India and is a member of UICC and recognised by WHO. KMIO is State Government Autonomous Institute. The Indian Council of Medical Research has recognised this referral Institution as a research organization.

Qualification
a. M.Sc. in Zoology / Life Science / Physics / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Cytogenetics and other subject to be specified.
b. Experience of work in Oncology / Research Centre preferred

AGE LIMIT;
As on the last date fixed for receipt of application, the candidate must NOT have attained the age of; -
a) 35 years in case of General Merit candidates;
b) 38 years in case of 11(a), 11(b), 111(a) and 111(b) category candidates
c) 40 years in case of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and Category-I candidates. Provided that the maximum age limit prescribed above shall be enhanced by
a. three years plus number of years of service rendered by him / her, in case of Ex- serviceman;
b. number of years of service rendered by him / her, in case of whole time NCC Cadet Instructor;
c. number of years of service or five years whichever is less in case of Census candidates;
d. number of years of service or ten years whichever is less in case of Government in- service candidates;
e. number of years of service in case of Village Group Inspector;
f. ten years in case of Bonded Labourer, Widow, Differently Abled candidates

Examination Fee:
For General Merit and Others : Rs. 1,000/- Each post
For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes & Category-1. : Rs.500/- each post

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
a. The Candidate can apply for more than one post if eligible, in the same application form.
b. Candidate should be a Citizen of India.
c. The male candidate who has more than one wife living and female candidate who have married a man already having another wife are not.eligible for recruitment unless they have obtained prior permission from the Government.
d. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit and he should be able to discharge their duties confidently for the post to which he/she will be selected.
e. The candidate who attempts to obtain extraneous support by any means for his candidature from officials or non-officials is not eligible for appointment to the posts specified in this recruitment.
f. The candidate who is or has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or who is or has been temporarily debarred or disqualified by the Union or any State Public Service Commission from appearing for examinations or selections conducted by it shall not ordinarily be appointed to the posts specified in this recruitment, unless the Government after a review of all the circumstances consider him suitable for such appointment.
g. The candidate;
I. who is or has been a member of, or has associated himself or herself with, anybody or association after such body or association is declared as an unlawful body or association; OR
II. has participated in or is associated with, any activity or programme :
i. aimed at subversion of the Constitution of India;
ii. aimed at organised breach or defiance of law involving violence;
iii. which is prejudicial to the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of India or the Security of the State; or
iv. which promotes, on grounds of religion, race, language, caste or community, feelings of enmity or hatred between different
sections of the people; or
v. is dismissed from service under the Government of India or any State Government; or
vi. is or has been permanently debarred or disqualified by the Union or any State Public Service Commission from appearing for any examinations or selections conducted by it;
are not eligible to the posts specified in this recruitment.
Misconduct: Further, a candidate found guilty of impersonation or of submitting fabricated documents or documents which have been tampered with or of making statements which are incorrect or false or of suppressing material information or of using *br attempting to use unfair means in an examination conducted for purposes of recruitment or otherwise resorting to any other irregular or improper means in connection with his recruitment may, in addition to rendering himself liable to a criminal prosecution and to disciplinary action, be debarred either permanently or for a special period,-
(A) By the commission or other recruiting or examining authority from admission to any examination or appearing for interview for selection of candidates; and
(B) By the Government from employment under it.
