Cato Research is an established Clinical Research Organization that engages in pharmaceutical and medical device product development and regulatory agency interactions on behalf of clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. 

The Cato Research Fellows Program provides postdoctoral training in the development of investigational and marketed pharmaceutical and medical device products. This one-year program offers classroom and hands-on training in a variety of areas including regulatory affairs, clinical research, safety reporting, data management, statistics, pharmaceutical development, project planning, and finance. Dependent upon business needs, the successful completion of the Fellows Program may lead to the offer of a permanent position.

Post : Fellow - Pharmaceutical Development

This is an exciting, opportunity for a motivated, independent individual with a background in pharmaceutical or biologic product development and/or manufacturing. This individual will focus primarily on support of development and manufacture of investigational drug or biologic products through oversight of contract labs/manufacturers, consultation with sponsoring companies, and authoring of regulatory documents.

Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 2 years industry related experience.
• A Ph.D. in Medicinal, Pharmaceutical, or Organic Chemistry; Molecular Biology; or similar
• Knowledge and experience in the technical aspects of biopharmaceutical products development (expression vectors, recombinant proteins, peptides, monoclonal antibodies, antibody drug conjugates, vaccines, gene therapy, etc.) Knowledge and experience with the analytical methodologies used to characterize biologic compounds such as HPLC, MS, amino acid sequencing, PCR, peptide mapping, and various electrophoretic techniques
• Strong scientific training in concepts related to molecular and cellular biology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Evidence of leadership and team work
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
