Pharmacy Fellowships at NARIP Cheruthuruthy

Central Research Institute of Ayurveda was established on 21st of June 1971 at Cheruthuruthy in Thrissur district of Kerala. Over the years, the Institute has witnessed a tremendous upgradation in terms of infrastructural facilities and research activities. Although the institute was mostly known as a Central Research Institute for years, it was upgraded to the status of National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma in June 2017 for further preferment in the health care and research. Beside catering to the needs of public healthcare by hospital-based services, the Institute is also devoted to research in various domains of Ayurvedic Sciences. The Institute is mandated to focus on standardization and validation of panchakarma procedures with a special emphasis on Neuromuscular and Musculo-skeletal disorders.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (Pharmacy)

This Institute intends to engage services of the following post on contractual basis for the Project "SOP Development , Pharmaceutical Standardisation and Analytical Characterisation of Dhanadhanayanadi and Rasna Panchak Kwatha Churna and their Ghana Vati (Tablet) Forms (Project ("ode -IPC0029)" initially for a period of six months. Qualification and other details are given below.

Essential : Bachelor of Pharmacy / Pharmaceuticals

Desirable : 1. Master of Pharmacy / Pharmaceuticals
2. 2 years working experience in Pharmacy / Research
3. Working knowledge of computer application

Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview

Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential/desirable qualifications and age limit proscribed above, must report to National Ayurveda Research Institute for Panchakarma, Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur District, Kerala-679531 on prescribed date and time for screening, along with duly filled in bio-data form, one recent passport size photograph and original certificates with one set of self attested relevant certificates. No candidate will be allowed after 10:00 AM.

General instruction:-
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 6 months which may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the competent authority, based on the performance of the selected candidate and co-terminus with the project and there will be no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview relaxable in the case of SC7ST/OBC as provided for in Govt, of India orders.
3. The format for submission of bio-data may be downloaded from the Council’s Website www.ccras.nic.in.
4. The candidates are required to appear in written test/interview. The selected candidate will have to submit Police clearance certificate and an undertaking in the non judicial stamp paper along with the joining report at the time of their joining.
5. The Director (Institute), NARIP, Cheruthuruthy reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the interview, without assigning any reason there off.
