Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education, Haldia. West Bengal (ICARE) set up in 1995, is a non-profit making voluntary organization registered under Societies Registration Act, 1961. This society is managed by a Board of Governors composed of eminent personalities who are great visionaries to create at Haldia a modern education centre of excellence to provide value based education of international standards and with a motto to march ahead to build an ideally developed West Bengal. Our society has shown phenomenal development in academics by establishing Engineering, Education, Nautical, Law, Dental, Medical, Nursing & Para medical colleges in Haldia, West Bengal. We also enjoy a reputation for being a highly supportive and friendly college, a place where our students and staff feel valued and respected. Haldia Institute of Pharmacy established in the year 2018. Our College has a 6 years Pharm. D. course, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, M.Pharm in Pharmacology, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis, B.Pharm & D.Pharm courses. The student’s strength of our college is approximately 700.

Eligibility Criteria : Eligibility Criteria as per PCI norms.
Professor : First Class B. Pharm with M. Pharm in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and Ph. D degree in any of Pharmacy subjects (Ph.D. Qualifications must be PCI recognized) with 10 years experience in teaching in PCI approved/ recognized Pharmacy College or research experience out of which 5 years must be as Associate Professor in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy College.
Associate Professor : First Class B. Pharm with M. Pharm in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and Ph. D degree in any of Pharmacy subjects (Ph.D. Qualifications must be PCI recognized) with 08 years experience in teaching in PCI approved/ recognized Pharmacy College or research experience out of which 5 years must be as Assistant Professor in PCI approved/recognized Pharmacy College.
Assistant Professor : First Class B. Pharm with M. Pharm in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy with 3 years experience in Teaching / Industry /Research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent.
Job responsibilities : Job responsibilities including teaching at M. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy and Pharm D Level, Research and Administration activities. Good knowledge about the subject, basic computer skills and administration.
