To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

Jadavpur University (1st Floor) for recruitment of a Project Assistant for JU-RUSA 2.0 sponsored project entitled “Microorganic Decomposer in Bio-toilet: A Sustainable Development Initiative for Indian Scenario” under the supervision of Prof. Sanmoy Karmakar.
Essential Qualification : Master in Pharmacy from any Pharmacy Council of India approved Institute
Desirable : Basic knowledge in Cell Culture & Microbiological laboratory techniques
Remuneration : Rs 14,000/- (for Non-GPAT qualified) and Rs 16,000/- (for GPAT qualified) Plus all admissible HRA; per month
Age : upto 30 years on 15/07/2019
Tenure : 15th March 2020
Interested candidates may appear in person on the day of interview with an application in the prescribed format, obtainable from information counter of the university between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Original and self attested copies of mark sheets and certificates are to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
