CNCI Doctoral Degree in Pharma Job

During that time with the help and support of Dr. B.C. Roy an eminet physician and then chief minister of West Bengal, the foundation of the present day Chittaranjan Cancer Hospital (CCH) was laid.The hospital was formally inaugurated by Prof. Madam J.Curie in January 2,1950 and named after Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, as a tribute to and in the acknowledgment of the enormous donation of his land and property for the cause.Initially this was a Cancer treatment centre, which gradually expanded its activities in basic and clinical research with the assistance from government funding organizations.This eventually led to the founding of the Chittaranjan National Cancer Research Centre (CNCRC),funded by the Government of India in 1957, which was committed to basic research on cancer.

Director CNCI, Kolkata, invites interested applicants for attending a walk-in-interview to be held on 25.01.2023 at 11 AM in the CNCI conference room (1st floor of Research Wing) for recruitment of following positions for a DBT sponsored project entitled “Prevention and Screening Innovation Project Toward Elimination of cervical Cancer - PRESCRIP-TEC” under Dr. Ranajit Mandal, Principal Investigator.

Essential Qualification : i) Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
ii) Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services OR
iii) Doctoral Degree in science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent


Duration : Initially for 1 year.

Pay : Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month
Age limits : Maximum 40 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement (relaxable for suitable PWD/SC/ST/OBC/women candidate, as per Govt. Rules).


Applicants are requested to appear at walk-in-interview on 25.01.2023 at 11 AM in the CNCI Conference room with an application on plain paper addressing Director, CNCI along with complete bio data and other supportive documents pertinent to qualifications and experiences required for the above mentioned posts. Candidates should bring the original certificates and testimonials in support of date of birth, educational qualification, experiences, publications, etc. and failing to produce any of the above-mentioned documents in original would disqualify the candidate to appear in the interview.
