Major Purpose of the Job: (Key deliveries/results expected from this job)
* Responsible for total Technical Operations of Jammu Plant.
* Responsible for Quality Compliance at Jammu.
Principal Accountability: (All the major jobs that (he employee is required to carry out)
1. To ensure timely deliveries of products as required by Marketing, with due focus on Quality, Cost & Productivity
2. To prepare and ensure implementation of strategy for the efficient functioning of Technical Group
3. To upgrade the Technology on need basis for effective utilization of resources and to improve productivity and Quality.
4. Review PPMC monthly production plan.
5. Ensuring resource availability in terms of machines, materials and manpower for execution of the plan.
6. Periodic review meeting involving Prod. Dept Heads, PPMS, Q.A. / Q.C., F&D, Engineering and HR to resolve issues related to production.
Review Yield / Losses
- Production Cycle Time
- Productivity Related Deviations
- Major Machine break down if any
7. To ensure quality compliance at Jammu in line with international regulatory requirements.
8. To ensure corrective actions on deviations of GMP / SOPs / Market Complaints etc.
9. To ensure the compliance of Regulatoiy Agency approvals.
10. To ensure the compliance of quality system and procedures at Jammu.
11. To work on alternatives of cost reduction in-all areas of manufacturing and engineering aspects.
12. To work on various options of automation in manufacturing & QC department and implement best option to improve on line controls, yield, quality and productivity of these departments
13. Handling productivity related issues with assistance from HR Dept.

14. Weekly production review / Qty & Value (Production-wise)
15. Loss of sale review / Loss of production and taking corrective action based on this
16. To attend monthly Operations and Management Committee Meetings.
17. To conduct Production and Operation Meetings, share goals and targets and review the same on periodic basis, take actions on relevant issues.
