The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. Hamdard University is setting up Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) in its campus of Jamia Hamdard at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062.
Post : Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellows (one) under ICMR (Extramural Research Grant) funded research project entitled “Targeted dendrimer loaded with anticancerdrug against triple negativebreast cancer” PI: Dr Prashant Kesharwani, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research.
Essential Qualifications : M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) with First Division and GPAT qualified.
Emolument : Rs. 31,000/ + HRA as per rule per month (No other allowances)
Duration : Initially for one year, with the provision of extension (based upon the performance) till the continuation of project.
