Interview for ‘Field Worker & Senior Research Fellow’ Position
Title of Project : Mechanistic studies SUMOylation and Salmonella intracellular pathogenesis.
Duration : 10 months from November 2026 or till the duration of the project end date.
Senior Research Fellow
Emoluments : (@Rs. 42000/- + 27% HRA per month)

Essential Qualifications : Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in professional courses selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Research experience of minimum 2 years.
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates with overall good academic background with prior research experience (research experience of minimum 2 years) in relevant field (details as given below).
i) Candidates with experience in the area of working in Post translational modification (PTM), specifically SUMOylation.
ii) Experienced in handling cell lines.
iii) Experience in inflammation related assays and gut inflammation.
iv) Experience in handling molecular microbiology assays.
v) Experience in molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass-spectrometry etc.

Essential Qualifications : Candidate with a Graduate Degree in any discipline.
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates with overall good academic background with research experience of handling biological specimen. Prior research experience (experimental exposure as a part of research project or dissertation) in the field of gut inflammation will be desirable (details as below).
i) Experience in- handling Salmonella related work and conducting experiments related to gut inflammation.
ii) Experience in microbial and molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass-spectrometry etc.
