Job Description
• Perform searches in various databases, short-list relevant patents/applications and prepare patent landscapes
• Perform FTO analysis
• Design IP compliant formulation development strategies
• Perform patentability evaluation and draft patent applications
• Provide technical support in prosecution of applications
• Prepare response to office action & handle prosecution
• Support the product selection activity
• Prepare invalidation grounds for patents/applications
• Provide technical support to legal teams during litigation/patent oppositions
• Address patent related customer queries

Candidate Profile
M Pharm with 2-6 years of Industrial experience preferably in Formulation R&D. Qualified Indian Patent Agent and/or PG Diploma in patents law would be good to have add-on qualification. More over candidate with Prior experience in IP including candidate from Law firms who have worked in Life Science & Health care sector would be more preferable.
• Ability to mine through huge amount of information and retrieve the required data;
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication in English language
• Expertise in handling databases such as Scifinder, Newport, Total Patent, Thomson etc.
• Patent drafting and claim interpretation skills
• Understanding of patent laws
