IMTech Opportunity for M.Pharm, MSc candidates to work in CSIR Health Cohort Knowledge base

Established in 1984, the Institute of Microbial Technology is one among the chain of 37 national laboratories, 6 units and 39 outreach centres of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Set-up to be a fore-runner in the niche domain of microbial biotechnology, the Institute in its initial years functioned from a start-up laboratory that provided a truly world-class R&D ambience in an area of over 10,000 sq. ft. to its researchers.

Project Title :- “Phenome India-CSIR health cohort knowledge base.
Project Code :- HCP-047

Essential Qualification:- Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualification:- PhD degree in microbiology and allied subjects. Experience in handling microbes, identification, characterization, preservation, metagenomics and data analysis. Expertise and knowledge in molecular biology techniques i.e. DNA isolation, PCR etc will be an asset.

Upper Age limit (years):- Relaxation in the age limit for the candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Women and the category of OBC shall be 05 years and 03 years respectively.

Monthly Emoluments:- Rs. 58,000/- +HRA
