The Himachal Pradesh Technical University was established in the year 2010 by an Act of Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh with an objective for value creation and welfare of society through Technical Education Training, Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Continuing Education programs. At the same time, the University is responsive to the changing and exceptional requirements of our society and economy and contributes to find answers to global problems. The University offers both shortterm and long term programs leading to Advance Diploma and Degrees, which are conventional as well as innovative through public and private participation. Most of these programs have been developed after an initial survey of the demand for such Programs. The programs offered are designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills and expertise to be the leaders in their chosen professions. The key to the success lies in the high premium it places on innovation, along with the work that is done by different role players and stakeholders to promote the University achievements in the fields of Science, Engineering and Technology. This is being achieved through a benchmarking system, which ensures that training and research programs always meet the highest standards.

Himachal Institute of Pharmacy (H.I.P.) is an Institution of Higher Education devoted to the study of Pharmaceutical sciences. The Institute is promoted by Dr. Puran Chand Medical Charitable Trust, under the dynamic leadership/ Chairmanship of Dr. V.K. Gupta with a vision to provide service to the society and to impart best quality of education in the field of Medical and Technical Education.
Objective of Conference
All of us understand the extraordinary importance of Pharmaceutical Sciences in next generation medicines. But we all recognize that as a scientific community we are not effectively translating the scientific discoveries into therapies, prevention, or cures. Despite unpredictable spending on basic research and development by Government as well as the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology Industries, Research centers and Institutions the pipeline of new drugs is disturbingly dry. There are numerous factors that is scientific, economic and regulatory but among these factors there must be a main one that how we think about drug candidates, discover new ones and how we evaluate when it comes to their benefit/risk profile. The aim of this seminar is to review past few years of the Essential Medicines movement and focus on the future of the essential medicine field with the concept "Next Generation Smart Medicines" of leaders. Our main aim behind this conference is to help prevent medicines and promising techniques from being discarded during drug development due to lack of tools to recognize their potential or because of out dated mathods & review delay their access.
Submission of Abstract
We are Pleased to invite all the registered candidates for the submission of abstract for poster presentation in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Acceptance of abstract will be mailed to the corresponding author.
