OCT Medical Devices moved to Irvine, California for the first year in 2016, and we are pleased to say it proved a resounding success. As the only event to cater for the Southern California Medical device hub in Irvine, it brought together a variety of medical device companies of all sizes, including Medtronic, Edwards Lifesciences, Onciomed, Inc and St Jude Medical.  The encompassing agenda focussed on the most pressing topics within the industry, from emerging markets to medical device reimbursement, and it still stands as one of the leading clinical focussed events which encompasses discussions across the med-device industry.

Date : June 27th & 28th, Santa Clara, CA

We’re moving! : The OCT medical devices event made a great debut within Irvine this year, however this year the event is seeking to move further North of California, locating to the bay area.  The bay area hosts a plethora of medical device companies of varying sizes, and will be a fantastic point to stop off for 2017.  A number of key session topics will no doubt return however, including a focus on running your trials in emerging markets such as India, spotlighting the finances of early stage medical device companies and the ongoing and essential element to clinical trials everywhere; how you chose your vendors. We will also look to delve into the increasingly advanced world of remote based monitoring – based off our great presentation which was given by St Jude Medical in 2016.
