4.1 TYPES OF SEARCH:

Quick Search:
For quick search user may entering one or more keywords and select the field to apply to box by using the field drop down menu located right. Select a Boolean operator (AND, OR and NOT) from the menu located between the two boxes. Enter a box in the text entry box labelled. Use $ (dollar sign) for truncation and wildcard use * asteric sign. Select a years or range of years to search scroll menu.Click search button.

Advanced Search:
For advanced search user may use for browse and combine controlled terms. Select   a year or range of years to search from select years drop down menu. Enter search statement into the text box marked query. Click on search button.

Cited Reference Search:
Cited reference search user may look up an author, specific work or years and have to find out this in their references. Enter the author's name (last name [space, no comma] first initial *), and the year the item you are interested in was published. Try with and without the "cited work" line filled in. Then click "search."


Subject scope and Composition Search:

Enter the subject area then select the level of subject categories. Then click search button.

CONCLUSION:
Based on findings it has been suggested that awareness about the Indian citation index, a new web platform and their type searches are for knowledge professionals and information professionals who indulged in chemical and pharmaceutical sciences.
