M.Pharma, M.Sc Botany; NET, GATE, RET qualified candidates will be given preference. Knowledge of large scale Cultivation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant of temperate species and its cultivation techniques.

Post Graduate Degree in Science M.Pharma, Life Science, M.Sc., Biotech, Zoology, Botany etc. and P.G. Diploma in Clinical Research is mandatory.

Diploma, Certificate in Ayurveda Pharmacist course recognised by the Government of Kerala. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualifications specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.

Ph.D in Life Sciences, Plant Biology, Plant-Pathogen Interactions, Biochemistry, Biotechnology. Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques such as DNA & RNA isolation, protein purification, routine PCRs and cloning.

Good Academic record with First Class Master Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology. The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test CSIR, UGC-JRF or DBT-BET Category-I and II, ICMR, DST-Inspire Fellowship 

Individuals desirous of seeking admission to PhD program at NIAB must have a Masters degree M. Sc., M. Tech., M. V. Sc. or M. Pharm or MBBS or B. Tech. degree in any branch of Life Science. Candidates must mandatorily have secured CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR, INSPIRE NET JRF, UGC-RGNF

Doctoral Degree in Science from a recognized university or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Stem Cell Biology and Neurobiology, Neuroscienc e with a strong publication record and research experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology.

Expertise of Finish goods testing. Stability, RM Analytical Method Validation, Dissolution, HPLC, PMQC and knowledge of handle other sophisticated instruments like GC, XRD, ICPMS, LCMS.
