  • You should lose weight in case you are overweight in order to avoid cancer for a new study, which analysed data relating to more than five million people, has found links between obesity and cancer.

  • Scientists have identified a protein that could be the key in the development of Alzheimer's disease. The findings were published in Science Translational Medicine. GPR3, the protein is believed to play an important role in reducing the buildup of amyloid plaques in the brain, a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease.

  • Researchers have now revealed that people with high stress jobs have a 22% higher risk of stroke than those with low stress jobs. The study appeared online in Neurology.
