Columbia Institute of Pharmacy, Raipur is run & managed by Janpragati Education Society (JPES), Raipur.The society was founded in the year 2003 under the chairmanship of Mr. Kishore Jadwani & Secretary, Mr. Harjeet Singh Hura. In the year 2004, the society started Columbia College of Pharmacy to conduct Diploma in Pharmacy course in a rented building at Raipur which was then shifted to the present location in 2005. In the year 2006, the society laid down the stone of Columbia Institute of Pharmacy to conduct B. Pharmacy course.

R R College of Pharmacy recognizes and encourages research as a fundamental tool for faculties, research scholars and PG students. College is well-equipped with research facilities to meet research requirements of various departments.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an Institute of National Importance. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.

JSS College of Pharmacy was established in 1980 with a view to provide job oriented professional courses in Pharmacy, The College and the JSS AHER are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with `A+` Grade. The infrastructure available makes the college a conducive place for academic learning that provides students with quality education in a clean, comfortable environment.

The foundation of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University (originally known as Agra University) was laid on the 1st of July, 1927, as a result of hectic efforts of a band of enthusiastic educationists like Rev. Canon A.W. Davis, Munshi Narain Prasad Asthana, Dr L.P. Mathur, Lala Dewan Chand, Rai Bahadur Anand Swaroop and Dr Brajendra Swaroop,. Original jurisdiction of University extended over United Provinces of Agra, Central India and Rajputana with 14 affiliated colleges and 2530 students of which, 1475 students belonged to United Provinces.

Guru Nanak Dev University was established at Amritsar on November 24, 1969 to mark the 500th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is both a residential and an affiliating university. In conceiving the future course of the University, the objectives enshrined in the Guru Nanak Dev University Act 1969, emphasised that the new University would make provision for imparting education and promoting research in the humanities, learned professions, sciences, especially of applied nature and technology.

KJR College of Pharmacy (KJRCP) is approved by PCI and AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam with an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. KJRCP was established in the year 2003 by Veeravalli Sundaramma Christian Educational Society in Rajahmundry. It aspires to set up a higher bench marking centre for pharmacy which offers D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy with 3 specializations (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical analysis and pharmaceutical Technology).
