National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is an autonomous body under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. NABL has been established with the objective to provide Government, Regulators and Industry with a scheme of laboratory accreditation through third-party assessment for formally recognizing the technical competence of laboratories.  The accreditation services are provided for testing, calibration and medical laboratories in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Standards.

In an effort to promote science and industry-academia collaboration, Zoetis and National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) are coming together in a joint research fellowship program to be carried out at NIPER, SAS Nagar. Zoetis, the leading global animal health company is a world leader in discovering, developing, manufacturing and marketing veterinary medicines and vaccines complemented by diagnostic products and genetic tests supported by technical services. NIPER, SAS Nagar is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences.
