The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Paramedical (Assistant Radiographer, Lab Technician, and Pharmacist) available in Bikaner District under the instructions received vide Medical & Health Services, Rajasthan Jaipur vide letter Araj / UTB / 2023/369 dated 24/07/2023 & 392 dated 04.08.2023 & Nursing Cadre (Female Health Worker & Nursing Officer) upto the limit of clear vacancies as per requirement on 31.03.2024 or till availability of regular personnel on vacant posts, whichever is earlier, to be selected through District Health Committee.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Bharat Ratna Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and Former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman.
