Applications in the general proforma are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the following time bound project. The engagement is purely on temporary and contractual basis and will be liable for termination at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance and there will be no provision of absorption/reemployment in IVRI after termination or completion of the time bound under mentioned project whichever is earlier.

The Institute is affiliated to the BJ Medical College, Civil Hospital Campus, Asarwa, Ahmedabad, which is a Government Medical College. In UNMICRC, emergency related tertiary care cardiac treatment is rendered to all classes of cardiac patients particularly the poorest of poor cardiac patients.

The history of the IIT system dates back to 1946 when a committee was set up by Hon'ble Sir Jogendra Singh, Member of the Viceroy's Executive Council, Department of Education, Health and Agriculture to consider the setting up of Higher Technical Institutions for post war industrial development in India.
