Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM).

CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP) is a premier multidisciplinary research institute of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India with its major focus on exploiting the potential of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) by cultivation, bioprospection, chemical characterization, extraction, and formulation of bioactive phytomolecules.

Agra Public Pharmacy College of Diploma (D.Pharm.) is one of the pioneer group of institutions providing quality technical education in Agra region. Agra Public group of Education is the oldest and largest group of Agra which was established by Late Shri P.L Sharma in 1965 under the flagship of Agra Public Education Society named as Agra Public School in 10, Old Vijay Nagar, Agra. After that Late Dr. Shadhna Sharma and Late Shri D.R Chaturvedi developed four new units of school in Agra and established Agra Public Group of Institutions.  In the year 1999, Agra Public Institute of Tech. & Computer Education was started in a 05 acres campus at Artoni-Agra.

The Bhagwati College of Pharmacy was established at Baraut (Distt. Baghpat), Uttar Pradesh in the year 2019 with the two-years Diploma programme in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) & four-years Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) affiliated by the Board of Technical Education and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
