Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) is an autonomous national institute under Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India). This futuristic innovation institute of its own kind in the country has a mission of advancing knowledge, leads and emerging technologies/processes relevant to agri-food sector towards applications and products. It aims to link them with societal benefits through catalysing/promoting entrepreneurial action around bioprocesses, bio-products, value-addition to bioproducts etc. with special reference to the agrifood sector. Currently, the four major mandated R&D areas in hand at the institute are (A) Value Addition to Primary Processing Residues/ Wastes for Edible Products; (B) Valorisation of Crop Waste for Speciality Products and Chemicals; (C) Nutritionals, nutraceuticals and upgradation of value or use of bio-products, (D) Biosynthetic technology/synthetic biology for low volume-high value products and industrial enzymes. To support and steer this mission, the institute requires following temporary research positions on stipendary / fellowship / associateship basis:

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram is an Institute of National Importance  established by an Act  of the Indian Parliament  and  under the 2 administrative control of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The Institute signifies the convergence of Medical Sciences and Technology and its mission is to enable the indigenous growth of biomedical technology, besides demonstrating high standards of patient care in medical specialties and evolving postgraduate training programs. It has a hospital for tertiary care of cardiovascular and neurological diseases, and research programmes in the areas of basic and applied medical sciences,  a Biomedical Technology Wing with facilities  and research programmes  for developing medical  devices from a conceptual stage to commercialization, and  The Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies for training and research in public health.

National Institute of Technology Patna is the 18th National Institute of Technology created by the Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India after rechristening the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering Patna on 28. 01. 2004. NIT Patna marked its humble beginning in 1886 with the establishment of pleaders survey training school which was subsequently promoted of Bihar College of Engineering Patna in 1924. This made this institute the 6th Oldest Engineering Institute of India. The graduate level curriculum was later elevated to the post graduate level in 1978. The institute is situated on the south bank of holy river Ganges behind Gandhi Ghat, one of the most important and reverential place of Patna. Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) invites applications for Post-Doctoral Research Fellows. Selected Post-Doctoral Fellows will work in  interdisciplinary major projects with faculty of INST. Interested candidates should have strong research interest in Nano Science and Technology (Drug delivery, sensors, energy, agriculture, water purification, scanning probe microscopy, high resolution electron microscopy, smart materials, devices, microfluidics, industrial and societal technologies).

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is an autonomous Grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. The TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). The TMC conducts Ph.D. program in Life Sciences and Health Sciences and is affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed University). On-going research at TMC includes basic, Epidemiological  and translational work in Cancer.

Anand Pharmacy College is established in 1998 and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU) at under graduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes. It offers B. Pharmacy course, M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Pharmaceutical Technology) and also Ph.D. programmes. The institute is being nurtured, supported and guided by Shri RamKrishna Seva Mandal.
