The Discipline of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research in frontier areas of modern biology and biotechnology such as stress genomics & proteomics, transgenic, plant-microbe interactions, metagenomics, marine biotechnology, adaptation biology, etc. We are looking for young, talented & motivated persons (M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Biotechnology / Biotechnology) for an ongoing project “Clonal Propagation of Elite Female Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.)”. It is proposed to engage the services of the following personnel initially for a period of one year which may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority on consolidated payment mentioned against each category. Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an autonomous academic institution established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu. RCB provides a platform for interdisciplinary research & education at the biotech interface of engineering & medicine, chemistry & physics, agriculture & climate science to empower human resources to drive biotech science and provide a common platform for innovation, enterprise, and industrial development to germinate. The Centre would be beneficial to India as well as other Member States of UNESCO in this region towards developing knowledge-rich, highly skilled human resource, harmonizing policies & procedures in biotechnology and indirectly promoting trade.

The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS), Chennai, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India proposes to engage the services of two Medical Officers with M.D (Siddha) in Sirappu Maruthuvam and one Consultant (Botany/Pharmacognosy), as per the details given below. Gujarat State Forest Development Corporation Limited ( GSFDC ) was established in August 1976 and registered under the Companies Act 1956.
In 1979 the Minor Forest Produce (MFP) trade came to be nationalized in Gujarat. The Corporation was entrusted with the task of its execution. This meant translating on the ground the State Policy of protecting economic interest of STs, SCs and other weaker sections, while justifying its corporate status. This corporation gets no grants and budgetary support from the Government.
