The Indian Registry of Pathology (IRP) was established in 1965 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in New Delhi, India as a Centre for collection and distribution of teaching material in pathology. The Registry was renamed in 1980 as the National Institute of Pathology (IOP) in view of its expanded scope and activities.

Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) provides an excellent opportunity for young and motivated researchers to pursue a career in basic and applied Life Sciences research. DIPAS endeavors to optimize human performance under extreme operational environments using physiological, biochemical, nutritional and ergonomic approach. The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to conduct human studies, animal and in-vitro experimentation with an interdisciplinary approach.

NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products and Pharmaceutics and over the period of time three more specialisations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology and Toxicology were added in 2010. Subsequently in 2011, to cater the needs of Medical device industry in India, another feather was added to the cap of NIPER Ahmedabad in the form of specialisation in Medical Devices.

Regional Medical Research Centre, NE, Dibrugarh is one of the 26 permanent institutes of Indian Council of Medical Research. The Centre was established on 12th day of July in the year 1982. It covers the most remote and less developed eight states of the north-eastern region of India and is responsible for carrying out Biomedical Research in the region and runs with intramural grant from ICMR and extramural adhoc projects from different funding agencies.

Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, A Unit of Tata Memorial Centre, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India  is operational since more than 5 years at the sprawling campus of approximately 70 acres in Agnampudi, Visakhapatanam.  Apart from the expansion of temporary out-patient clinics and diagnostic facilities, we are now in the final phase of commissioning the Radiotherapy block with State-of-the-art radiation treatment (Teletherapy & Brachytherapy), radiology (CT scan, MR Imaging) and nuclear medicine (PET-CT, SPECT- CT) faci
