Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of Technology created as centres of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India, the others being at Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Bombay, Guwahati and Roorkee. Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared an Institution of National Importance under the "Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963" and was renamed "Indian Institute of Technology Delhi". It was then accorded the status of a deemed university with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.

The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is a growing phenomenon. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, RGCB began in 1990 amongst humble surroundings as a small charitable society called the Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (C-DEST). In 1991, recognizing its potential, the C-DEST was made a “Grant-in-Aid” institute of the Government of Kerala and renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Development of Education, Science and Technology (RGC-DEST), becoming the first institute in the country to be named after Sri Rajiv Gandhi, the young illustrious and visionary former Prime Minster of India.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST funded research project entitled "Single-molecule biosensing with hetero-oligomeric protein nanopores" in the laboratory of Dr. Mahendran K R at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB) is an autonomous national institute under Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India). Central Drugs Testing Laboratory, Mumbai is statutory laboratory working under administrative control of Drugs Controller General (I), CDSCO, DGHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) is the Central Drug Authority for discharging functions assigned to the Central Government under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. CDSCO has six zonal offices, four sub-zonal offices, 13 port offices and seven laboratories under its control.

The contractual period may be reduced or extended at the sole discretion of the management (CDSCO-HQ). During the contract period the service can be terminated without any notice or without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

The MET Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 1993 with the two-year Diploma programme in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education. The four-year Bachelor's programme in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) affiliated to the Mumbai University was started in the year 1994. B.Pharm is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
