BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI).

Tata Memorial Centre is an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy.   TMC is comprised of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer ( ACTREC) and the   Tata Memorial Hospital (  TMH). ACTREC conducts a Ph.D. program in Life   Sciences, affiliated to the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category A by MHRD, Govt of India). On-going research at ACTREC includes basic and translational research in Cancer Biology.
