The following position is available for contractual appointment under the Project “Identification and evaluation of functional significance of HPV-16 variants in the disease progression and immune response” under DST Project, being undertaken by Principal Investigator Dr. Anoop Kumar:-

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India primarily with the objectives of regularly updating the Indian Pharmacopoeia by publishing new edition and its addenda, National Formulary of India and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of reference substances & functions as National Coordination Centre (NCC) for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI).

Post : Patient Safety- Pharmacovigilance Associate

Applications are invited to fill up One post of Senior Laboratory Assistant ( Group ‘ C' Non , Gazetted) in the office of the Director, Central Drugs Testing Laboratory,CDSCO,Zonal FDA Bhawan,Mumbai in Pay Band -2.Rs.5,200-20,000+Grade Pay Rs.2800 (revised as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level - 5) by direct recruitment.

Government Medical College, Jammu, a premier institute of J&K was started in the year, 1973 in a temporary building with the object to provide quality education and deliver the health care service to the people of this region. This institution is located in the heart of Temple City Jammu. This institution was started with the aim to train fifty medical students for MBBS course per year and to serve as referral hospital for Jammu Province. But now the seating capacity has been increased upto 120 students per year, Besides MBBS course the college also imparts Post-graduate training Course.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) basis to the post of Director (Vigilance), Group ‘A’, Level 13 (Rs.1,18,500-2,14,100) (revised) in Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi. The details of the post, eligibility criteria, job requirement, age limit etc. required for the post are indicated in Annexure-I below. The pay and other terms and conditions of deputation (including short-term-contract) will be regulated in accordance with DOPT’s O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.

Retired Armed Forces personnel till 2002 could avail medical facilities only for specific high cost surgery/treatment for a limited number of diseases covered under the Army Group Insurance(Medical Branch Scheme) (AGI(MBS)) and Armed Forces Group Insurance Scheme(Management Information System) (AFGIS (MIS)) schemes. These medicare schemes could provide some relief to the ESM, but it was not a comprehensive scheme as compared to and available for other Central Government Employees. Therefore, the requirement was felt of establishing a medicare system which could provide quality medicare to the retirees of the Armed Forces.
