Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited, KAPL Bengaluru is a Government of India Enterprise.  Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals Limited is a Joint Sector Company of Government of India with shareholding from Government of Karnataka through Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation KSIIDC. From a modest beginning in 1984, KAPL has grown exponentially in the areas of manufacturing and marketing of various life saving and essential drugs.

Central Drug Testing Laboratory is one of the Seven National Laboratories in India engaged in the research and analysis of Drug and Cosmetics as per Drug and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

Retired Armed Forces personnel till 2002 could avail medical facilities only for specific high cost surgery/treatment for a limited number of diseases covered under the Army Group Insurance(Medical Branch Scheme) (AGI(MBS)) and Armed Forces Group Insurance Scheme(Management Information System) (AFGIS (MIS)) schemes. Nanded Waghala City Corporation, Pharmacist is one of the contracted posts under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program.  Interviews of eligible candidates have been organized as per the following schedule to fill the vacancies of Pharmacist on contract basis on a consolidated basis.
