Biosimilars are protein product that are similar to branded biologics and approved by regulatory agencies.  Biosimilars are cost effective and relatively cheaper than branded biologics. In pharmaceutical industry Biosimilars segments became one of the larger and lucrative one. The global Biosimilar segment has attended higher growth rate among them the USA and Europe are leading one. Further it very good opportunity for Pharmergings like India, China, Russia, Brazil etc. Specially India can replicate its well developed genetic segments and can attend higher growth in it. But, certain issues including immunogenicity, marketing competition and regulatory hurdles are needed to be addressed to propel further innovation in this segment. In present review various marketing opportunities, key issues and regulatory consideration for Biosimilars is described in detail.

The most important method for developing the very stable and suitable formulation for thermolabile as well as thermostable drug is lyophilization which works on the principle of sublimation of ice crystal from frozen material. Principle of the process through the basis of formulation, freezing, primary drying and secondary drying . In order to design optimum lyophilization process, process development scientific need to the critical properties of the formulation and how to apply to this information to process design. Lyophilized formulation not only has the advantage of better stability, but also provide easy handling i.e. shipping and storage. This article present an overview of lyophilization process, its advantage and pharmaceutical application.

The use of antiangiogenic drug is an advantage as a novel treatment for a number of conditions, ranging from cancer to psoriasis. Antiangiogenic therapy becomes a new course of treatment for cancer. This has led to the reassessment of antiangiogenic therapy for cancer, and new strategies have been proposed to increase the efficacy of these agents in this setting. Angiogenesis has also been implicated in other conditions that are notoriously difficult to treat, such as arteriosclerosis, arthritis, psoriasis and diabetic retinopathy.Increased understanding of the angiogenic process, the diversity of its inducers and mediators, appropriate drug schedules and the use of these agents with other modalities may lead to radically new treatment regimens for many of these conditions. The role of angiogenesis in different pathological settings and emerging antiangiogenic agents currently in preclinical and clinical studies are discussed in this review. However, while potential benefits are profound, limitations of antiangiogenic therapy have also been identified, suggesting that there is also a need for caution in applying these compounds to the clinical setting.
