Post: One Joint Drugs Controller

Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, Under the Drug and Cosmetics Act, the regulation of manufacture, sale and distribution of Drugs is primarily the concern of the State authorities while the Central Authorities are responsible for approval of New Drugs, Clinical Trials in the country, laying down the standards for Drugs, control over the quality of imported Drugs, coordination of the activities of State Drug Control Organisations and providing expert advice with a view of bring about the uniformity in the enforcement of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

Applications are invited from suitable and eligible candidates against 14 Nos. of contractual positions of Consultant Clinical Pharmacologist having MD Degree in Pharmacology and also having at least 05 years of experience m relevant field. These positions have been sanctioned for handling the following types of work in CDSCO

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (HQ), FDA Bhawan, Kotla road, Near Mata Sundari College, New Delhi - 02 requires Consultant (New Drugs) in place of DDC (I) (New Drugs) purely on contractual basis at a consolidated monthly remuneration to the tune of Rs. 50000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand) with 5 % increase per annum only for a period of five years, renewable every year subject to satisfactory performance.
