This scheme seeks to engage student pursuing Post Graduate degree or are research scholar enrolled in recognized University / Institution within India or abroad as “Intern”.

In October 1990 the B. V. Patel Education Trust in conjuncture with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association established B. V. Patel Pharmaceutical Education & Research Development (PERD) Centre, in the memory of late Mr. B. V. Patel, the first Drug Controller of Gujarat.

• Qualification: M.Pharm./ M.S.(Pharm.)/ Fresh Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Analysis / Quality Assurance with good academic record

• Desirable : 2-3 years experience of method development and handling analytical instruments like HPLC, LC/ MS, spectrophotometer, flash chromatography etc.

Educational Qualifications : M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) or M.Pharm. (Medicinal/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with at least 55% marks. CSIR-NET including LS/ GATE/ JAM/ GPAT qualified candidates will be preferred.
Salary : Fellowship + HRA (As per DST norms).
