    National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an 'Institute of National Importance'. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

  • Walk in interview for M.Pharm in NIRS research at Jadavpur University

    To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

    National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is the first Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, established in India on 18th February 2010. The institute aims at catalysing the transformation of Agri - food sector in India. The institute has the vision to be a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value added products based on Agri-food biotech innovations. The main research focus of NABI is to harness biotechnological tools in the area of Agriculture Biotechnology, Food and Nutritional Biotechnology so as to provide sustainable and novel solutions towards quality food and nutrition.

  • Walk in interview for Junior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology

    Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and three inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Within a short period of time, IIT Guwahati has been able to build up world class infrastructure for carrying out advanced research and has been equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and engineering instruments.

  • Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Science (DRILS)

    DRILSThe Institute of Life Sciences was conceived in the context of globalization, to foster research competence in India and to bridge the divide between academic research and the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries. The institute was incorporated as a non-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian companies act, facilitating operational autonomy. Construction of the ILS building comprising 44 labs and an administrative block and spanning -130,000 sq.ft. in area, began in 2004 and was completed in January 2007. The institute was inaugurated as a public-private partnership research institute on 29th January 2007, a culmination of the efforts and initiative of the Andhra Pradesh state government, Dr. Reddy's laboratories and the University of Hyderabad. The institute is located in the southeast corner of the campus of the University, one of the largest and greenest campuses in India. The institute was renamed as Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences in 2012 and dedicated to innovation in the pharmaceutical sciences.

  • Vacancy for Junior Research Fellow at BITS Pilani | M.Pharm, M.S Pharm

    Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), one of India’s leading higher education institutes and a deemed university under Sec. 3 of the UGC act. Our campus at Pilani (Rajasthan) was set up in technical collaboration with MIT (USA), under the Ford Foundation Grant and later was deemed to be a university in 1964.  Covered with wooded paths and spread over 328 acres, the campus is self contained and houses all the amenities and buildings that befit an institute of international standards. The programmes are fully residential with 11 hostels for boys and one hostel complex for girls. Around 4500 students live on campus along with 350 faculty members, their family and a vast pool of support staff.
