SKU Health Centre, The Health centre caters to the needs of students, staff, non-teaching staff, visiting faculty of the University and to a limited extend to the needs of the surrounding cluster of villages. The Health centre as yet does not have in-patient therapy units. An expansion of the physical infrastructure of the Health centre is under way and when the work is completed, limited in-patient services will also be offered. There are three Medical Officers manning the Health centre.

The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) was launched across the country for providing integrated comprehensive Primary Healthcare Services, especially to the poor and vulnerable sections of the Society.  The Mission aims at bridging gaps in rural healthcare through increased community ownership, decentralization of the programmes to the district level, inter-sectoral convergence and improved primary health care.

Bio-EGICORE, Dept. of Life-Sciences, EGICORE in collaboration with Dept. of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, Integral University, Lucknow is organising the "1st National Workshop on Computer Aided Drug Designing " (1st-NW-CADD-2013), to be held, from Nov, 09th to 10th 2013, in Integral University Campus, on the outskirt of the beautiful city of Lucknow, in U.P. India.

A majority of the poor people of Bihar usually depend on Public/Government Health Care Delivery Systems to address their preventative and curative health needs. Optimal availability of good quality drugs procured at competitive prices, quality provision of health related services and proper construction and maintenance of health facilities are of paramount importance for better Health Care Delivery.

The Public Health Department Government of Maharashtra, is making constant and concerted effort to formulate and execute schemes to ensure adequate health care services to the people in line with the National Health Policy. While implementing these schemes, steps are being taken to make improvements in the health care system in the State to cater to the health needs of the people in the rural areas, particularly in the tribal and backward regions of the State.
