The CSIR - Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR - IITR), Lucknow, a premier institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) , is involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. CSIR - IITR is engaged in the areas of Environmental Toxicology; Food, Drug and Chemical Toxicology; Systems Toxicology & Health Risk Assessment; Regulatory Toxicology; Nanotherapeutics & Nanomaterial Toxicology. CSIR-IITR has two campuses; the main campus is located at the centre of Lucknow City and the other campus at a distance of approx. 20 km from the main campus.

Applications for following Scientific positions are invited from enthusiastic, young Indian researchers having excellent academic record and proven scientific achievements along with requisite experience and a high degree of motivation and desire to take up research as a career in the above mentioned areas.

CSIR - Institute of Microbial Technology, Sector - 39/A, Chandigarh intends to engage Project Assistant, Project Fellow, JRF (Project) & Research Intern on purely temporary basis on contract under DBT/CSIR sponsored project at IMTECH. Besides following positions, a General Panel of Project Assistants, Project Fellows, JRF (Project) & Research Intern will be finalized from amongst candidates for future requirements, which will be valid for one year or till finalization afresh panel. However, the number of positions may vary depending upon the requirement of the Institute.

The energy and Resources Institute, TERI was formally established in 1974 with the purpose of tackling and dealing with the immense and acute problems that mankind is likely to face within in the years ahead on account of the gradual depletion of the earth's finite energy resources which are largely non-renewable and on account of the aexisting methods of their use which are polluting. Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the award of "DBT-Junior Research Fellowship" (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology and Applied Biology. JRFs will be selected according to merit under two categories: Category I & II. Category I fellowship (Top 275 in number) are tenable in any University/Institute in India where the students can register for Ph.D. Category II students (100 in number) will be eligible to join any DBT sponsored project and avail fellowship from project, equivalent to NET/GATE qualifications as per DST Guidelines, subject to selection through institutional selection process. Registration for Ph.D will be decided by Institutional rules. Fellowship will be co-terminus with the duration of project and institutional rules will be applicable. There will be no binding on Pls of DBT sponsored projects to select JRF/SRF for their projects from category II list. Selection in Category II will not entitle student for any fellowship from DBT-JRF programme.

The Institute of Life Sciences was conceived in the context of globalization, to foster research competence in India and to bridge the divide between academic research and the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries. The institute was incorporated as a non-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian companies act, facilitating operational autonomy. Construction of the ILS building comprising 44 labs and an administrative block and spanning -130,000 sq.ft. in area, began in 2004 and was completed in January 2007. The institute was inaugurated as a public-private partnership research institute on 29th January 2007, a culmination of the efforts and initiative of the Andhra Pradesh state government, Dr. Reddy's laboratories and the University of Hyderabad. The institute is located in the southeast corner of the campus of the University, one of the largest and greenest campuses in India.
