Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM), Srinagar is a constituent of Central Council for Resesarch in Unani Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, Since 1985. Over the past few decades this institute has emerged as the leading institute of the Unani medical research in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The campus houses a building which contains Clinical Department (including Opd, ipd, Labortaries, Pharmacy), SMPU (Survey of Medicinal Plant Unit), Drug Standardization Research Unit (DSRU), Administrative Block, PG Department, canteen.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) can trace its origins to the Ecole de Medicine de Pondicherry established by the French Government in 1823. In 1956 foundation for new medical college was laid and in 1964, hospital was inaugurated. JIPMER became an institution of national importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 2008. It is an institution established for teaching, research and patient care in the area of health. JIPMER spreads over 192 acres.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, SAS Nagar (Mohali) under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers (Department of Pharmaceuticals), Govt. of India, is an autonomous institute of National Importance created by an Act of Parliament devoted to the promotion of pharmaceutical education and research. The Institute is located at SAS Nagar, adjoining the beautiful city of Chandigarh. It is ideally placed for intellectual interaction with the several medical, scientific and technological centers.

ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Noida is a premier Institute of Indian Council of Medical Research under Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

IIT Hyderabad is one among the 2nd generation of IITs started by the Govt. of India. Today IITH offers 11 B.Tech programs, 1 B.Des Program, 3 M.Sc programs, 18 M.Tech programs, 1 M.Des program, 1 MA Program and 15 Ph.D. programs in all branches of engineering, science, liberal arts and design. IIT Hyderabad offers 2 years M.Tech Program to the foreign Nationals in 9 different departments. The very foundation of IIT Hyderabad is based on research and innovation.

Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy is a branch of Acharya Institutes which is spread over 120 acres of Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The institute is ARIIA ranked organization; DSIR recognized Scientific and Industrial Research Organization; accredited by NBA, NAAC, and LSSSDC; affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka; and approved by AICTE and PCI. Having D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm (six specializations), and Ph.D. programs, the Institute has received research funding from SERB, ICMR, AICTE, VGST, RGUHS, and private Industries.
