Mrs. Archna Mudgal has taken voluntary retirement from PCI

Mrs. Archna Mudgal who was serving as registrar cum secretary has taken voluntary retirement from PCI, notified by Pharmacy council of India. And Mr Anil Mittal, Deputy Secretary has taken charge as Registrar-cum-Secretary.

A notification published on Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) portal said, "Due to Voluntary Retirement taken by Smt. Archna Mudgal, Registrar-cum-Secretary, PCI, Shri Anil Mittal, Deputy Secretary will hold the charge of Registrar-cum-Secretary."

The Registrar-cum-Secretary is the administrative head of the PCI secretariat.  Registrar-cum-Secretary acts as the Treasurer of the Council.  Registrar-cum-Secretary performs functions to carry out the activities of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 like convening various meetings of the Central Council, Executive Committee, Other committees etc. and implementation of the decisions taken therein.

Mrs. Archna Mudgal who served for a long time in PCI and actively participated in implementing strategies of PCI for the development of the pharmacy profession.
