Job Description:
Department Medical Imaging SBU Perceptive Informatics, Inc.
Essential Functions:
Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the team effort of executing the technical and clinical functions required by the study protocol and leading the study team to facilitate study completion to meet timelines.
Relationships
Reports To: Imaging Research Manager
Directly Supervises: N/A
Provides Work direction to: IA/IRA
Works Closely with Project Managers, Imaging Assistants, Imaging Research Associates, Manager Imaging Laboratory
External Relationships: Clients, Subcontractors, Investigator Sites, Radiologists at Academic Centers

Key Accountabilities
*Responsible for achieving team targets set by the Line manager / Project Manager.
*Responsible for communicating team progress to PM
*Responsible for facilitating team communication across all locations.
*Reports study needs and issues to the line Manager / Project Manager
*Collaborates with management to resolve technical/study concerns and problems.
*Collaborates with management to identify resources have the needed skill set.
*Collaborates with management to identify gaps in team skill set.
*Assist with managing team members work schedule.
*Reviews CIL, raw data and other study specific paperwork to assist the study team in the appropriate implementation of clinical operations and to ensure accurate data collection and recording.
*Guides, supports and leads the project team in carrying out assigned day-to-day tasks.

*Coordinates the initiation and implementation of assigned Projects.
*Coordinates and directs the appropriate and timely imaging QC and reads for assigned clinical trials.
*Identifies issues and contacts sites & sponsors for issue resolution.
*Ensures confidentiality of study protocols and subjects is maintained.
*Perform quality assurance checks on study images
*Perform established image processing techniques (including the downloading of imaging data from foreign media, region of interest measurements, video system specific processing) across multiple modalities (including but not limited to CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound) using proprietary software, Image Viewer, as well as other third party packages as appropriate.
*Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing, with all internal and external customers (physicians, investigators, study coordinators, coworkers, etc.)
*Identifies and participates in the performance improvement process.
*Participates in the development, review and evaluation of SOPs and study specific procedures.
*Executes technical and clinical functions as required by the study protocol in accordance to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
*Perform other duties as required by the position.

Technical Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Candidate Profile:
Experience:
* Previous management experience preferred.
* 1 year experience as Lead IRA/ Sr IRA preferred
* Prior clinical research preferred.
