Founded in the year 1992, Acharya & B.M. Reddy College of Pharmacy (ABMRCP) today is crowned with Cadilla Pharmaceuticals Limited Award for Best Industry Linked Institute in Pharmacy in AICTE-CII survey of Industry linked technical institutes 2016. The college is recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The college is also recognized as a vocational training center of LSSSDC, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India, and accredited by NBA and NAAC. With a coastline of about 3,500 miles, inland sources in Rajasthan and Little Rann of Kutch, and the rock salt mines in Mandi, India have possibilities of attaining a high position in salt production among the salt producing countries of the world. As is known, apart from being an indispensable item of food, salt is an important raw material for the manufacture of several heavy chemicals e.g. soda ash, caustic soda and chlorine.

Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an apex body in the national forestry research system, has been undertaking the holistic development of forestry research through need based planning, promoting, conducting and coordinating research, education and extension covering all aspects of forestry. The Council deals with the solution based forestry research in tune with the emerging issues in the sector, including global concerns such as climate change, conservation of biological diversity, combating desertification and sustainable management and development of resources. Topical research by the Council enhances public confidence in the ability of forest managers and researchers to successfully handle challenges related to natural resource management.

CSIR - National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), is a premier plant science research institute, involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India.
