Job description
Clinical Systems Development is a department in PRA that designs, develops and tests high quality Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and related tools for collecting, managing and reporting patient data on Clinical Trials. Each system is designed according to the requirements of the client and the clinical protocol. The data that is entered is subject to a comprehensive set of programmed edit checks which challenge the validity of the data as it is entered. The set up of these systems and related tools is subject to a rigorous testing process on every clinical trial to ensure that the system will collect and report the highest quality clinical data.

We are hiring experienced Clinical System Testers in Chennai.
You will be an integral part of the Clinical Systems Development team responsible for:


  • Analyzing the requirements from the client
  • Preparing test plans
  • Preparing test cases
  • Preparing test data for the test cases
  • Analyzing the test cases prepared by other team members
  • Executing the test cases
  • Defect tracking

You will work with project teams from multiple continents and countries to manage and conduct the testing of clinical trial databases to ensure the delivery of our products are consistent with clients’ needs, expectations and contractual obligations.

Desired Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor of Engineering (any field), MCA, B.Tech or related degree eg BioInformatics, Biotechnology
  • Outstanding skills in spoken and written English
  • Experience of software testing required, or experience in clinical data management
  • Experience of working in a multinational environment preferred
     
  • Willing to attend teleconferences outside normal business hours
  • Firm grasp of SDLC and specific knowledge of testing processes preferred.
  • Hands-on experience of manual & automated testing techniques and tools such as TFS / TestLink, Bugzilla., preferred.
  • Flexibility to work a night shift (10pm - 6am) required
