Job Description:
Key Accountability
Delivers Qualifications, Calibrations and Maintenances and supports purchase activities as per the project requirements which meet the needs with expected quality, timing and budget.

Functional Description
• To perform the qualification, calibration and maintenance of all pharmaceutical and analytical instruments/equipments as per GMP Standards.
• To co-ordinate with vendors for all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and external calibration activities for all instruments/equipments.
• Preparation and execution of all qualification activities for new equipments along with any requalification/validation for existing instruments as part of the compliance requirement.
• To manage routine pharmaceutical lab and pilot plant activities, like calibration, preventative maintenance and euiqpment inventory management.
• To ensure lab safety, first aid maintenance, routine checks of safety equipments,
• Prepares Qualification documents and SOPs as and when required.
• Participates in the upkeep of laboratory in order to meet GMP and Novartis standards.
• To fulfill additional responsibilities given by the manager as and when needed.


Candidate Profile:
Educational Requirements
•Masters or Graduate Degree(s) in Pharmacy, or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation/ Mechanical or equivalent experience.

Other
•Experience in or knowledge of chemical principles, analytical techniques, analytical instrumentation GMPs, and validation.
•Good written and verbal communication skills, in English. Good math skills.
•Ability to think logically and draw valid conclusions.
•At more senior levels positions require an advanced degree or equivalent experience and knowledge, and ability to apply scientific methodology to solve difficult problems. Should be creative and show initiative.
