Following posts are to be filled purely on temporary and contract basis in the project entitled “Molecular Epidemiological Study of Plasmodium falciparum field isolates and the incidence of Malaria in endemic regions of Central India” in this Centre :-
POSTS: SRF, JRF, Project Assistant
Name & No. of post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) leading to Ph.D. -One Post
Essential Qualification: Post-graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Bio- Technology from recognized University AND Minimum two years Research experience in reputed R & D laboratory
Desirable Qualification: Candidate have good research experience in the area of malaria parasite/molecular biology/cell culture will be preferred
Age: Below 35 yrs (relaxable to SC / ST/ OBC candidates as per rules)
Emoluments: 18000/- plus HRA (if applicable)
Work Responsibility: Will be overall incharge of the field /lab work. Any other related work as assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time

Desirable Qualification: Having experience in the various techniques used in malaria research i.e. PCR, DNA sequencing, parasite culture etc.
Age: Below 28 yrs (relaxable to SC / ST/ OBC candidates as per rules)
Emoluments: 16000/- plus HRA (if applicable)
Work Responsibility: Will be in-charge of laboratory work and any other related work assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time

Essential Qualification: Post-graduate Degree preferably in Life Sciences
Desirable Qualification: Having experience in the field/lab based research
Age: Below 28 yrs (relaxable to SC / ST/ OBC candidates as per rules)
Emoluments: 8000/- (fixed)
Work Responsibility: Will assist the research activities in field and laboratory. Any other related work as assigned by Principal Investigator from time to time.

Duration of the project is five years. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminable with the project or till the duration of the project whichever is earlier. Emoluments and qualifications will be as per DST guidelines issued from time to time. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment under DBT/ICMR. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
