Post: Group Product Manager

Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring improvement in market share of the assigned brand. He / she will also manage top line and bottom-line by leveraging promotional budget of brands.
Major responsibilities are listed below:
1. Top Line & Bottom Line Achievement:
a) Ideating and formulating Brand Strategy
b) Identifying and exploring opportunities for Brand Building
2. New Product Launch:
a) Identifying and Analyzing Market Potential for New Product Launch.
b) Supervising discussions regarding viability with the Finance Team.
c) Administering Sales Projection and sampling plan.
d) Monitoring Promotional Activities.
e) Ensuring regional launch meetings for the new product.
3. Field Work:
a) Supervising the joint work of the team joint work with field employees.
4. Process Compliance:
a) Monitoring the team for effective implementation of Brand Promotion activities & ensuring the same with 100% process compliance.

Candidate Profile:
Required Education: Graduate (Science/Pharmacy) with MBA. Ideally M. Pharma with MBA
Minimum Experience:
6 to 8 years of total work experience out of which 1-2 years in Pharmaceutical sales followed by at least 2-3 years in a Product Management role
1. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate on daily basis with vendors on various inputs
2. Influencing Skills: Should have the ability to influence variety of layers within the organization on various aspects of a brand. Should also be able to gain the mindshare of the Field Force.
3. Planning Skills: Ability to plan and strategize communication of multiple produces and deliver results according to plan.
4. Networking Skills: Ability to network in the company as well as in the industry.
5. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team and provide purpose and direction to them. Ability to mentor the team mates and cascade strategies for deriving desired results
6. Analytical Ability: Ability to identify gaps in the market and strategizing positioning of products. Ability to interpret CMARC Rx trend and present data. Ability to take challenges for attaining breakthrough achievement through customized campaigns and marketing interventions
7. Innovation/Creativity: Ability to ideate and execute new initiatives to bring novelty to brand promotions. Should also possess ability to create alternatives.
8. Business Acumen: Understands the business landscape and organizational direction and applies the same to align all activities.
9. Prioritization and time management: Multitasking and ability to handle innovative and operational task at the same time
