Herbz International is a forward integrated arm of one of Southern India’s oldest agri-business and trading houses; the Kynadi Group. Among other business and plantation interests, the family owns Herbz India, a medicinal herb contract farming company which has access to thousands of farmers cultivating different herbs in their natural habitat. The cultivation is done as per standardized cultivation practices specified by Herbz India in order to ensure the highest uniform active principle contents.
Though Herbz India focused merely on the contract farming and trading of raw medicinal herbs, it was realized that several of the exotic herbs grown by the company’s farmers and the miraculous formulations it had access to, called for a channel to make these products directly available to consumers around the world. Herbz International was the fruit of this insight to reach out directly to consumers with value added end products developed and packaged most conveniently without compromising on quality or efficacy.

Job Description:
The Area Sales Manager would head the Karnataka Sales operations of Herbz International, a natural products manufacturer/exporter which is licensed by the United States FDA and has operations in 4 continents. Herbz has just launched its first domestic product in Bangalore (a premium weight loss solution). A leading Super Stockist and established distributors have already been appointed by the company. The ASM would report to the National Sales Manager and would manage the entire sales and distribution operations in his area, with the assistance of a 6-10 member sales and marketing team.

Candidate profile:
Key Requirements are: Excellent communication skills, aggressive salesmanship, out-of-the-box thinking, discipline and diligence, passion for quality and perfection and capacity to set repeatable systems in place.
Prior experience in FMCG/pharma sales would be considered favourable. We also encourage applications from freshers with innovative marketing ideas and demonstrated diligence.
