This is a specialized institute with BSL-3 & BSL-4 laboratories and expertise to handle known and unknown virus infections of medical importance. The Institute works on different disciplines of viral infections in India and a WHO Collaborating Centre for emerging viral infections. ICMR-National Institute of Virology offers M.Sc.
