National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Since its inception in 1970, it has been making vigorous efforts to improve the reproductive health of people through research, education and health care services.
Applications are invited through Walk-in-Interview on 16-08-2013 between 09:00 hrs. and 12:00 hrs. for the following vacancy under Non-Institutional ad-hoc project.
Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - One
Title of project:
Effect of metformin on hornmonal, metabolic and endometrial profile in obese bonnet monkeys (macaca radita)
Stipend:
Rs. 18000/- + 30% HRA p.m.
Or
Rs. 14000/- + 30% HRA p.m.
Essential qualification:
M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, life sciences, with Two years research experience and CSIR / UGC / ICMR NET qualified
OR
M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, life sciences, etc with two years research experience
Desirable:
Candidates having experience in ELISA, western blotting, proteomics and molecular biology techniques will be given preference. Knowledge of computer applications, data analysis and animal handling is essential.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 Years
Duration: 4 Years

- Qualification/degree should be from a reputed Institution/University.
- Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.
